It frames Jyotiṣa as a disciplined Vedāṅga method: outcomes are not guessed but declared by rule—using clear measures and the actual strength (bala) of grahas—supporting dharma-aligned decision-making.
Indirectly: by encouraging correct discernment (viveka) in timing and judgment, it supports orderly religious life—helping a devotee choose appropriate times and conditions for vows, worship, and dharmic acts without confusion.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa: (1) do not mix incompatible calculation sets, (2) judge results from Lagna conditions, and (3) prioritize graha-bala in the relevant aṃśa/divisional segment when determining phala.
