Bharata’s Attachment and the Palanquin Teaching on ‘I’ and ‘Mine’

यथा पुंसः पृथग्भावः प्राकृतैः करणैर्नृप । सोढव्यः सुमहान्भारः कतमो नृप ते मया ॥ ६६ ॥

yathā puṃsaḥ pṛthagbhāvaḥ prākṛtaiḥ karaṇairnṛpa | soḍhavyaḥ sumahānbhāraḥ katamo nṛpa te mayā || 66 ||

Ô roi, de même que le sentiment de séparation chez l’homme naît de ses facultés matérielles, de même un fardeau immense doit être porté. Dis-moi, ô roi : quel est donc ton fardeau que je devrais porter ?
