Ayant retiré le mental des objets des sens, le sage—dont la nature est le discernement véritable—doit, pour la délivrance, contempler le Seigneur Suprême, établi comme Brahman.
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada on Moksha-dharma)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a core Moksha-dharma method: pratyāhāra (withdrawing the mind from sensory engagement) followed by steady contemplation of the Supreme as Brahman, making liberation the direct aim of inner discipline.
Although framed in jñāna-yoga language, it supports bhakti by directing the purified, withdrawn mind to single-point contemplation of the Supreme Lord (Pareśvara), which in devotional practice becomes absorbed remembrance (smaraṇa) and focused worship.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught here; the practical takeaway is yogic discipline—sense-restraint and mental recollection—used as a sādhanā for mokṣa.
