Anukramaṇī (Synoptic Table of Contents) of the Śrī Bṛhannāradīya Purāṇa
Suta (narrating the Anukramanika/contents-summary of the Narada Purana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It functions as an anukramaṇikā (table-of-contents) verse, highlighting that sacred place-glories (like Vṛndāvana), transformative destinies (even for animals), and avatāra narratives (Mohinī) are arranged sequentially to guide devotion and dharma.
By foregrounding Vṛndāvana’s glory and Mohinī’s divine līlā, it points to bhakti as remembrance of Bhagavān’s sacred abodes and deeds—topics traditionally used for śravaṇa and kīrtana in Vaiṣṇava practice.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; it is a structural marker showing how Purāṇic sections are ordered for study and recitation.
