maṃḍale'ṣṭadale klṛpte goviḍliptadharātale | mantrairebhirdvijaśreṣṭha gaṇeśādikṛtārcanaḥ || 33 ||
Ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés, après avoir tracé un maṇḍala à huit pétales sur un sol enduit de bouse de vache, qu’il accomplisse l’adoration—en commençant par Gaṇeśa—au moyen de ces mantras.
Narada (teaching a dvija/ritual practitioner within the Narada–Sanatkumara instruction stream)
Vrata: Sārvabhauma-vrata (contextual continuation)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes that successful worship begins with ritual purity (a consecrated space) and proper sequencing—invoking Gaṇeśa first to remove obstacles before proceeding with the intended deity’s mantra-worship.
Bhakti here is expressed through disciplined, reverent practice: preparing a sacred mandala and offering archana with prescribed mantras, showing devotion through correct ritual order and sanctified space.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) through instructions on mandala construction and worship sequence, and it also implies correct mantra application (linked to Śikṣā for recitation and Vyākaraṇa for accurate wording).
