Account of the Aṣṭamī Vow Across the Twelve Months
कृष्णाष्टम्यां मार्गशीर्षे मिथुनं दर्भनिर्मितम् । अनघां चानघां तत्र बहुपुत्रसमन्वितम् ॥ ८२ ॥
kṛṣṇāṣṭamyāṃ mārgaśīrṣe mithunaṃ darbhanirmitam | anaghāṃ cānaghāṃ tatra bahuputrasamanvitam || 82 ||
Au jour de Kṛṣṇāṣṭamī du mois de Mārgaśīrṣa, qu’on façonne avec l’herbe darbha un couple. Et là, qu’on installe Anaghā et Anagha, dispensateurs d’une nombreuse descendance, de nombreux fils.
