Et (l’on y décrit) le rite juste pour quitter le corps ; puis la confluence de la Kāverī. On y trouve aussi Dāru-tīrtha et Brahmāvarta, où est raconté le récit sacré concernant Īśvara.
Narada (listing/summary narration to the Sanatkumara brothers in an Anukramanika context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It functions as an index-like pointer: it highlights holy places (Kāverī-saṅgama, Dāru-tīrtha, Brahmāvarta) and a liberating practice (dehapāta-vidhāna), indicating that pilgrimage, sacred narration of Īśvara, and end-of-life dharma are presented as supports for mokṣa.
Bhakti is implied through “Īśvara-kathānaka”—the Lord’s sacred narrative. Hearing/reciting the Lord’s accounts at tīrthas is a classic purāṇic bhakti-practice that purifies the mind and turns the heart toward God.
The verse points to ritual procedure (vidhāna), i.e., applied dharma/kalpa-style guidance regarding dehapāta (end-of-life rites). It is not a technical exposition of grammar or astrology here, but a practical ritual cue within the purāṇic framework.
