Transliteration

kó adyá yuṅkte dhurí gā́ ṛtásya śimī́-vato bhā́mino duḥ-hṛṇāyū́n | āsán-niṣūn hṛtsváso mayo-bhū́n yá eṣāṃ bhṛtyā́m ṛṇádhat sá jīvāt ||

Translation

¿Quién hoy unce al timón los corceles de la Ṛta — impetuosos, llameantes, difíciles de refrenar? Sentados con flechas, respirando desde el corazón, trayendo deleite: quien logre ganarlos para el servicio, que viva.
