Hanūmān, son of the Wind-god, sprang onto his chariot and with a swift blow of his palm crushed both the chariot and that very rākṣasa.

Hanuman the son of wind god, getting on to the chariot quickly destroyed that Rakshasa Jambumali with his palm.

Dharma here is the protective use of strength: Hanūmān’s power is exercised to remove a threat to the righteous cause, not for cruelty.

After being wounded, Hanūmān retaliates decisively by leaping onto the attacker’s chariot and crushing the rākṣasa.

Courage joined with swift resolve—Hanūmān responds immediately to danger and restores advantage to his side.
