Śveta—silver-bright in appearance—swift and of fearsome prowess, intelligent and heroic among the Vānaras, was renowned across the three worlds.

"One who resembles silver in colour is Swetha. He is an intelligent one with terrific prowess, and a warrior is well known in the three worlds. Swetha is quickly coming towards Sugriva, dividing the Vanara army forces and again proceeding swiftly."

The verse links power with discernment: true dharmic strength is not mere force but force guided by buddhi (intelligence) and directed toward a just end.

The text introduces prominent Vānara commanders by name and qualities, building a moral and military portrait of the allies supporting Rāma’s cause.

Buddhi with vīrya: intelligence paired with heroic action, yielding lasting kīrti (renown).
