Shloka 6.125.3

पुष्पकारोहणम् (Boarding the Puṣpaka; Honoring the Allies and Departure for Ayodhyā)

तमब्रवीन्महातेजालक्ष्मणस्योपशृण्वतः ।विमृश्यराघवोवाक्यमिदंस्नेहपुरस्कृतम् ।।6.125.3।।

ta ime kṛta-karmāṇaḥ sarva eva vanaukasaḥ |

dhana-ratna-pradānena karma eṣāṃ saphalaṃ kuru ||6.125.6||

All these forest-dwellers have fulfilled their task; make their deeds bear fruit by granting them wealth and jewels.

Highly brilliant Raghava was thinking and spoke in a friendly manner while Lakshmana was listening closely.

Service should not end in neglect: dharma asks that effort be recognized so that duty becomes “fruitful” through fair recompense.
