पुष्पकारोहणम् (Boarding the Puṣpaka; Honoring the Allies and Departure for Ayodhyā)
स तुबद्धाञ्जलि: प्रह्वोविनीतोराक्षसेश्वरः ।अब्रवीत्त्वरयोपेतःकिंकरोमीतिराघवम् ।।6.125.2।।
sa tu baddhāñjaliḥ prahvo vinīto rākṣaseśvaraḥ |
abravīt tvarayopetaḥ kiṃ karomīti rāghavam ||
Then the lord of the rākṣasas, humble and bowed, with palms joined in reverence, hastened forward and said to Rāghava: “What shall I do?”
The Rakshasa king humbly offered salutation to Raghava with joined palms, quickly approached, and said, 'What is to be done'?
Dharma as rightful submission to righteous authority: Vibhīṣaṇa seeks instruction, placing duty above ego and acting in truthfulness (satya) and service.
Vibhīṣaṇa approaches Rāma respectfully and asks what action is required of him, signaling readiness to fulfill his role after the war.
Vibhīṣaṇa’s humility and obedience—he asks for guidance rather than asserting entitlement.
