Thus addressed by Rāma, Sugrīva and the vānaras, and Vibhīṣaṇa among the rākṣasas, all with joined palms, spoke as follows.
After Rama had spoken that way Sugriva, Vibheeshana, monkeys and Rakshasas saluted Rama and said as follows.
Dharma as reverence to rightful authority: allies respond with humility (añjali), showing disciplined gratitude and recognition of righteous leadership.
After Rāma’s announcement about returning to Ayodhyā, the allied leaders and troops respond respectfully and begin to speak.
Collective humility and loyalty—Sugrīva, the vānaras, and Vibhīṣaṇa honor Rāma with proper salutation.
