Vibhīṣaṇa, in Laṅkā I have bestowed upon you a sovereign kingdom as your own. Even the gods of heaven—Indra included—will not be able to assail you.
"Vibheeshana, I would like to see you living like Indra bestowed with your own kingdom in Lanka. It will not be possible for even gods to attack you."
Dharma here is righteous kingship and protection: Rāma legitimizes Vibhīṣaṇa’s rule as a just reward for adherence to dharma and promises security against unlawful aggression.
After Rāvaṇa’s fall and Vibhīṣaṇa’s installation, Rāma affirms Vibhīṣaṇa’s sovereignty in Laṅkā and assures him of divine-level protection.
Rāma’s virtue of steadfastness and righteous guardianship—he keeps faith with an ally who chose dharma over kinship.
