Sugrīva, all that a friendly elder—affectionate and well-wishing—ought to do has been done by you, who fear to stray from dharma. Now go swiftly to Kiṣkindhā, surrounded by your own army.

All that has to be done by an affectionate friend in advanced age has been done, for the fear of unrighteousness. Now you may advance with your army to Kishkinda.

Dharma is steadfastness in right conduct: Sugrīva’s help is framed as action motivated by dharma-bhaya—fear of falling into adharma—rather than mere advantage.

Rāma formally commends Sugrīva’s loyal assistance and directs him to return to Kiṣkindhā with his forces.

Sugrīva’s loyal friendship and conscientiousness (dharma-bhīrutā), and Rāma’s truthful recognition of merit (satya in praise).
