na kulena na rūpeṇa na dākṣiṇyena maithilī | mayādhikā vā tulyā vā tat tvaṃ mohān na budhyase ||
Maithilī is not superior to me by lineage, nor by beauty, nor by courtesy—nor even my equal; yet, deluded, you failed to understand this.
