रावणस्य अन्त्येष्टिः — Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct

तदैवयन्नदग्धगद्धस्त्वंधर्षयंस्तनुममध्यमाम् ।देवाभिभ्यतेतेसर्वेसेन्द्राःसानाग्नीपुरोगमाः ।।।।

avaśyam eva labhate phalaṃ pāpasya karmaṇaḥ | ghoraṃ paryāgate kāle kartā nāsty atra saṃśayaḥ ||

A sinner surely reaps the fruit of sinful deeds; when the time ripens, the doer of dreadful acts is destroyed—of this there is no doubt.

"When you touched Sita of slender waist, at that time itself you were not burnt. All gods including Indra headed by fire god are approaching you with hostile intention."

K
Karma (action)
P
Phala (result)

Moral causality is inviolable: adharma produces suffering, and dharma-aligned truth ultimately prevails in time.

In lament, Mandodarī universalizes Rāvaṇa’s downfall into a general law of karma and consequence.

Truthfulness about consequence (satya) and ethical clarity—naming wrongdoing plainly and accepting its results.
