tasyās tadvacanaṃ śrutvā hy aham apy abruvaṃ vacaḥ || 5.58.94 || devi rāmasya bhartus te sahāyo bhīmavikramaḥ | sugrīvo nāma vikrānto vānarendro mahābalaḥ || 5.58.95 ||
Hearing her words, I too spoke: “O Devi, your lord Rāma’s ally is Sugrīva, the valiant Vānara king—mighty in strength and formidable in prowess.”
"Hearing her I also said, 'O queen Sugriva, the warrior of fierce valour and king of monkeys developed friendship with your husband'.
The ethical message remains the same as the prior verse: righteous aims are advanced by truthful communication and dhārmic alliances.
A repeated line in the transmission reinforces Hanumān’s identification of Rāma’s ally (Sugrīva) while he establishes trust with Sītā.
Reliability: repetition here functions as emphasis—Hanumān’s account is consistent and steady.
