सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः — हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
तस्यास्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा ह्यहमप्यब्रुवं वचः।।।।देवि रामस्य भर्तुस्ते सहायो भीमविक्रमः।सुग्रीवो नाम विक्रान्तो वानरेन्द्रो महाबलः।।।।
tasyās tadvacanaṃ śrutvā hy aham apy abruvaṃ vacaḥ | devi rāmasya bhartus te sahāyo bhīmavikramaḥ | sugrīvo nāma vikrānto vānarendro mahābalaḥ ||
Hearing her words, I replied: “O Devi, your lord Rāma has an ally of fearsome valor—Sugrīva by name, the mighty king of the Vānaras.”
"Hearing her I also said, 'O queen! Sugriva, the warrior of fierce valour and king of monkeys developed friendship with your husband'.
Dharma is strengthened through righteous alliances: cooperation among the virtuous supports the restoration of justice.
