śrutvā tu gaditāṃ vācaṃ rājarṣigaṇapūjitām | pratyabhāṣata māṃ devī bāṣpaiḥ pihitalocanā ||

After hearing my words—made reverent by invoking the royal seers—the divine lady replied to me, her eyes veiled by tears.

"The divine lady heard my enumeration, sanctifying the royal seers. She replied me, with her eyes blinded by tears:

S
Sītā (Devī)
R
rājarṣis (royal seers)

Truthful testimony offered with reverence: speech becomes dhārmic when it is sincere, respectful, and anchored in venerable authority rather than deceit.

After Hanumān has spoken at length, Sītā—overwhelmed with emotion—responds, her tears showing both suffering and renewed hope.

Sītā’s steadfastness and tenderness: even in distress she listens carefully and responds rather than collapsing into despair.
