सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः — हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
गच्छतश्च हि मे घोरं विघ्नरूपमिवाभवत्।काञ्चनं शिखरं दिव्यं पश्यामि सुमनोहरम्।।।।
tṛṇavad bhāṣitaṃ tāsāṃ gaṇayāmāsa jānakī | garjitaṃ ca tadā tāsāṃ sītāṃ prāpya nirarthakam ||
Jānakī counted their speech as no more than a blade of grass; and their roaring threats against Sītā proved futile.
"Even as I was leaping I saw a terrific and wonderful golden peak which came as if to obstruct me on my path.
Dharma supported by satya gives inner steadiness; intimidation loses force when one is anchored in truth and righteousness.
The demonesses threaten Sītā, but she remains unmoved and refuses to be psychologically broken.
Sītā’s dhairya (fortitude) and satya-niṣṭhā (commitment to truth and fidelity).
