सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः — हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
प्रत्यक्षमेव भवतां महेन्द्राग्रात्खामाप्लुतः।उदधेर्दक्षिणं पारं काङ्क्षमाण स्समाहितः।।।।
pratyakṣam eva bhavatāṃ mahendrāgrāt kham āplutaḥ |
udadher dakṣiṇaṃ pāraṃ kāṅkṣamāṇaḥ samāhitaḥ ||
You yourselves witnessed it directly: leaping up into the sky from the peak of Mahendra, intent and composed, I sought to reach the southern shore of the ocean.
"I rose upwards leaping into the sky, intent on reaching the southern shore from the mountain Mahendra.It has been witnessed directly by all of you.
It points to dharma as disciplined effort: accomplishing a righteous mission requires focus (samāhita) and accountability before witnesses (pratyakṣa).
