सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः — हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
शोचता च मया दृष्टं प्राकारेण समावृतम्।काञ्चनेन विकृष्टेन गृहोपवनमुत्तमम्।।।।
śocatā ca mayā dṛṣṭaṃ prākāreṇa samāvṛtam |
kāñcanena vikṛṣṭena gṛhopavanam uttamam ||
While I was grieving, I noticed an excellent private garden, enclosed by a long wall of gleaming gold.
"While worrying like that I saw a long golden boundary wall surrounding a splendid home garden. (upabana)
From sorrow to purposeful action: dharma requires that grief be transformed into renewed effort toward the rightful goal.
In the midst of despair, Hanumān spots a walled, splendid garden—an environmental clue that redirects his search.
Pratyutpanna-mati (presence of mind): he observes carefully and follows signs rather than remaining paralyzed by grief.
