हनूमदुपदेशः रावणस्य च कोपः (Hanuman’s Counsel to Ravana and Ravana’s Wrath)
यां सीतेत्यभिजानासि येयं तिष्ठति ते वशे।।।।कालरात्रीति तां विद्धि सर्वलङ्काविनाशिनीम्।
yāṃ sītety abhijānāsi yeyaṃ tiṣṭhati te vaśe; kālarātrīti tāṃ viddhi sarvalaṅkāvināśinīm.
She whom you recognize as “Sita,” though she now stands within your power—know her as Kālarātri, the Night of dissolution, destined to destroy all Lanka.

Dishonoring a virtuous person invites ruin; dharma protects the innocent and turns their suffering into the downfall of the oppressor.
Hanuman reframes Sita not as a helpless captive but as a cosmic force whose violation will precipitate Lanka’s destruction.
