मम चेदल्पभाग्याया सान्निध्यात्तव वानर।अस्य शोकस्य महतो मुहूर्तं मोक्षणं भवेत्।।।।

mama ced alpabhāgyāyāḥ sānnidhyāt tava vānara | asya śokasya mahato muhūrtaṃ mokṣaṇaṃ bhavet ||

O Vānara, if by your presence this unfortunate woman—me—could gain even a moment’s release from this immense sorrow, it would be a grace.

"Your presence will relieve me of my suffering, if you stay here for a while.

Sītā

Hanumān

Dharma includes offering solace to the afflicted; Sītā acknowledges that truthful reassurance and compassionate presence can be a real, if brief, relief.

Sītā, long oppressed in captivity, admits how Hanumān’s arrival and proximity temporarily eases her grief.

Endurance with honesty—Sītā openly names her suffering while still receiving hope through a righteous messenger.
