हनूमद्बलप्रबोधनम् / Jāmbavān Rekindles Hanūmān’s Power
पक्षयोर्यद्बलं तस्य तावद्भुजबलं तव।विक्रमश्चापि वेगश्च न ते तेनावहीयते।।।।
tatas tu vai jāmbavatā pracōditaḥ
pratītavēgaḥ pavanātmajaḥ kapiḥ |
praharṣayaṃs tāṃ harivīravāhinīṃ
cakāra rūpaṃ mahad ātmanaḥ tadā ||
Then, urged on by Jāmbavān, Hanumān—the monkey, son of the Wind—recognized his true speed and power; and to delight the host of heroic monkeys, he expanded his own body into a vast form.
'The strength of your shoulders is equal to that of his (Garuda's) wings. Your speed and valour are no less.
Dharma is awakened capability in service: when counsel restores clarity, power should be expressed for the righteous mission and to uplift others.
After Jāmbavān’s encouragement, Hanumān regains self-knowledge, enlarges his form, and prepares to leap across the ocean toward Laṅkā.
Śaurya with vinaya—heroic might guided by purpose, used to strengthen collective morale.
