संपाति-उपदेशः / Sampati Instructed and the Search Mission Foretold
नोत्सहेयमहंकर्तुमध्यैव त्वां सपक्षकम्।इहस्थ स्त्वं तु लोकानां हितं कार्यं करिष्यसि।।4.62.13।।
pakṣau tu te prapakṣau ca punar anyau bhaviṣyataḥ | prāṇāś ca cakṣuṣī caiva vikramaś ca balaṃ ca te ||
You will regain new wings and pinions once more; and you will also recover your life-breath, eyesight, prowess, and strength.
'I am not enthusiastic about giving you the wings now. Remain here and carry on the work for the welfare of the world.
Dharma here is expressed as restorative grace: capability and strength are returned so the recipient can fulfill a righteous purpose rather than remain incapacitated.
A seer assures Sampāti that his lost powers—wings, eyesight, vitality, and strength—will be restored, preparing him for a larger role in the unfolding mission connected to Rāma.
Hope joined to responsibility: renewed power is not for pride, but for service to a dhārmic cause.
