सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम् (Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search)
शयनानि प्रसूयन्ते चित्रास्तरणवन्ति च।मनःकान्तानि माल्यानि फलन्त्यत्रापरे द्रुमाः।।।।
śayanāni prasūyante citrāstaraṇavanti ca | manaḥkāntāni mālyāni phalantyatrāpare drumāḥ ||
The trees of that region bring forth beds furnished with variegated coverlets; other trees yield garlands that are pleasing to the heart.
'The trees of that region deliver beds with colourful spreads. Some trees yield garlands of flowers pleasing to the heart.
The trees are described as possessing divine qualities (similar to Kalpavrikshas), capable of bearing finished luxury items like comfortable beds with colorful sheets and beautiful garlands, rather than just natural fruit.
