सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम् (Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search)
मुक्ता वैढूर्यचित्राणि भूषणानि तथैव च।स्त्रीणां चाप्यनुरूपाणि पुरुषाणां तथैव च।।।।सर्वर्तुसुख सेव्यानि फलन्त्यन्ये नगोत्तमाः।महार्हाणि विचित्राणि हैमान्यन्ये नगोत्तमाः।।।।
śayanāni prasūyante citrāstaraṇavanti ca | manaḥkāntāni mālyāni phalanty atrāpare drumāḥ॥
Some trees there even bring forth beds with colorful coverings; and other trees yield garlands that are delightful to the heart.
'Some other great trees (of the region) provide ornaments suitable for both men and women studded with precious pearls and vaidurya which give pleasure in all seasons. Other trees put forth beautiful and highly valuable ornaments.
Comfort and beauty are portrayed as non-harmful and freely given—suggesting a dharmic ideal where enjoyment does not depend on violence, deceit, or coercion.
