सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम् (Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search)

नित्यपुष्पफलास्तत्र नगाः पत्त्ररथाकुलाः।।।।दिव्यगन्धरसस्पर्शाः सर्वान्कामान् स्रवन्ति च।नानाकाराणि वासांसि फलन्त्यन्ये नगोत्तमाः।।।।

Transliteration

nityapuṣpaphalās tatra nagāḥ pattrarathākulāḥ | divyagandharasasparśāḥ sarvān kāmān sravanti ca | nānākārāṇi vāsāṃsi phalanty anye nagottamāḥ॥

Translation

There the trees are ever in flower and fruit, alive with flocks of birds. Their divine fragrance, taste, and touch seem to pour forth every delight; and other excellent trees even yield garments of many kinds.
