सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम् (Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search)
गभस्तिभिरिवार्कस्य स तु देशः प्रकाशते।विश्राम्यद्भिस्तपस्सिद्धैर्देवकल्पैः स्वयंप्रभैः।।।।
tat saraḥ samatikramya naṣṭacandradivākaram |
anakṣatragaṇaṃ vyoma niṣpayodam anāditam ||
After crossing that lake, you will reach a sky where the moon and sun are unseen—starless, cloudless, and without any sound.
'That (Sunless) land shines like the radiance of the Sun-god with the presence of self-effulgent ascetics who have attained perfection in penance.
Dharma is steadfastness: even when the world becomes disorienting and fearful, one continues the righteous task without losing resolve.
