That mountain, with its slopes, plateaus, and ridgelands, must be searched by all of you; after passing Mount Krauñca comes the mountain called Maināka.
'Beyond mount Krauncha you will find Mainaka. All of you should search for Sita in the plain lands and the ridges of the mountain.
Dharma is thorough effort guided by truthful knowledge: the mission requires both accurate route-information and complete searching of the terrain.
Sugrīva continues the northern itinerary, directing the party past Krauñca to Maināka and insisting on a comprehensive search.
Perseverance with planning: sustained effort supported by clear instructions.
