ayaṃ siddhāśramo nāma prasādāt te bhaviṣyati | siddhe karmaṇi deveśa uttiṣṭha bhagavann itaḥ || 1.29.18 ||
By your grace this place shall be known as Siddhāśrama. O Lord of the gods—my observance is fulfilled; O Blessed One, now arise and depart from here.
O Lord of the celestials, with my penance accomplished (here) this place will be known as siddhaashrama by your grace. O Lord! arise from here".
Dharma honors sanctified effort: a place becomes sacred through truthful practice and divine approval, turning personal discipline into communal spiritual heritage.
Kāśyapa declares his austerity complete and names the hermitage Siddhāśrama due to Viṣṇu’s favor.
Gratitude and clarity of completion: acknowledging grace and concluding a vow properly.
