O blameless one, I grant you the Agneya weapon, dear to me, called Śikhara by name; and also the Vāyavya weapon called Prathana.
O blemishless Rama! I shall grant you agneyaastra known as sikhara which is myfavour weapon and vayavyaastra known as prathana৷৷
Power is entrusted as a moral responsibility: the guru grants astras for the protection of dharma, not for personal dominance.
Viśvāmitra begins formally bestowing divine missiles upon Rāma, naming specific fire- and wind-based astras.
Trustworthiness and purity (anagha): Rāma is deemed fit to receive potent weapons because his character aligns with righteous use.
