Arjuna said: “Victory is surely mine, O Krishna; of this there is no doubt. For you—teacher of all the worlds—are pleased with me, O Madhusudana.”
अजुन उवाच
Arjuna grounds his certainty of success not merely in personal strength but in alignment with Krishna’s guidance and favor. Ethically, the verse highlights the Mahabharata theme that right action (dharma) gains steadiness when supported by wise counsel and devotion to the higher good.
In the midst of the Karna Parva battle context, Arjuna addresses Krishna with confidence, declaring that victory is assured because Krishna—the universal teacher and his charioteer-guide—is pleased with him, implying divine and moral support for his cause.
