कर्णनिधनश्रवणम् — Hearing of Karṇa’s Fall and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament

जयाशा धार्तराष्ट्राणां वैरस्य च मुखं यत:

Transliteration

jayāśā dhārtarāṣṭrāṇāṁ vairasya ca mukhaṁ yataḥ

Translation

Sañjaya said: “From this arose the Dhārtarāṣṭras’ hope of victory, and from this too the very opening (cause) of renewed enmity.”
