शौरे रथं वाहयतोअर्जुनस्य बल॑ महास्त्राणि च पाण्डवस्य । अहं विजानामि यथावदद्य परोक्षभूतं तव तत् तु शल्य,“मद्रराज! अर्जुनका रथ हाँकनेवाले श्रीकृष्णके बल और पाण्डुपुत्र अर्जुनके महान् दिव्यास्त्रोंकी इस समय मैं भलीभाँति जानता हूँ। तुम स्वयं उनसे अपरिचित हो
Translation
“O King of Madra, I know well at this moment the strength of Shauri (Krishna) who drives Arjuna’s chariot, and the great divine weapons of Arjuna, son of Pandu. But you, Shalya, are not truly acquainted with them.”
