परि धत्त धत्त नो वर्चसेमं जरामृत्युं कृणुत दीर्घमायुः । बृहस्पतिः प्रायच्छद् वास एतत् सोमाय राज्ञे परिधातवा उ

IAST Transliteration

pári dhatta dhattá no várcasémáṃ jarā́mṛtyuṃ kṛṇuta dīrghám ā́yuḥ | bṛ́haspátiḥ prā́yacchad vā́sa etát sómāya rā́jñe pári-dhātavá u

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Enwrap ye, wrap ye it about us for our splendour: make ye old age and death depart, and fashion long life. Bṛhaspati bestowed this garment for King Soma, to be put on round about, verily.
