उरुं नो लोकमनु नेषि विद्वान्त्स्व१र्यज्ज्योतिरभयं स्वस्ति। उग्रा त इन्द्र स्थविरस्य बाहू उप क्षयेम शरणा बृहन्ता
urúṃ no lokám ánu neṣi vidvā́n svàr-yaj jyótir abháyaṃ svastí | ugrā́ te índra sthávirasya bāhū́ úpa kṣayema śaráṇā br̥hántā
A wide realm do thou, the wise one, lead us on unto—heaven-reaching light, fearlessness, and welfare. Formidable, O Indra, are the arms of thee the steadfast: under them may we dwell, as under great shelters.
