tásyédaṁ várcas téjaḥ prāṇám ā́yur ní veṣṭayāmídám enam adharā́ñcam pādayāmi

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

His very lustre, his fiery might, his breath, his life I wrap down and enclose; this man—him—do I force downward, I make to sink beneath.
