Sukta 6
कुम्भीकाः दूषीकाः पीयकान्
kumbhīkā́ḥ dūṣīkā́ḥ pī́yakān
The Kumbhīkās, the Defilers, the Pīyakas—(these) I name and mark out.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (Anukramaṇī attribution for this section is not uniform across modern listings).
Devata: Rakṣas/kr̥tyā-demons (as objects of expulsion); implicitly Agni as purifier in the surrounding context.
Chandas: Mixed/irregular (late Atharvanic style; not securely determinable from the fragment).
{"primary_rasa":"bhayankara","secondary_rasa":"raudra","emotional_arc":"From dread of the unseen to bold exposure.","listener_experience":"A sharpening of vigilance; sense of confronting the hidden polluter.","intensity":6}
