kuśiṣyāya na dātavyaṃ ye ca śāstrārthadūṣakāḥ || na paṭhed goghna-madhye vai na paṭhec chaṭha-madhyataḥ ||

Translation

Man soll es weder einem ungeeigneten Schüler geben noch denen, die den Sinn der Śāstras verderben. Man soll es nicht inmitten eines Kuhschlächters rezitieren und nicht in der Gesellschaft der Trügerischen.
