हिमवानुवाच । अद्य मे सफलं जन्म अद्य मे सफलाः क्रियाः । यन्मे साक्षात्त्वमव्यक्ता प्रसन्ना दृष्टिगोचरा । इदानीं किं मया कार्यं तन्मे ब्रूहि महेश्वरि
himavānuvāca | adya me saphalaṃ janma adya me saphalāḥ kriyāḥ | yanme sākṣāttvamavyaktā prasannā dṛṣṭigocarā | idānīṃ kiṃ mayā kāryaṃ tanme brūhi maheśvari
Himavān sprach: „Heute ist meine Geburt erfüllt, heute haben meine Taten Frucht getragen—denn Du, die Unmanifestierte (Avyakta), bist mir aus Gnade unmittelbar vor Augen sichtbar geworden. Was soll ich nun tun? Sage es mir, o Maheśvarī.“
