विधाय लेखनीं कर्णे चित्रगुप्तो यमाज्ञया । ततो हूता गणाः सर्वे ये नीता धरणीतलात्
vidhāya lekhanīṃ karṇe citragupto yamājñayā | tato hūtā gaṇāḥ sarve ye nītā dharaṇītalāt
Auf Yamas Geheiß legte Citragupta den Schreibgriffel an sein Ohr, bereit zum Aufzeichnen. Dann wurden alle Gaṇas herbeigerufen, die von der Erdoberfläche herbeigebracht worden waren.
