Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 36

अतो ह्यंबेति विख्याता पूज्यते गिरिमूर्द्धनि । संपूज्य विविधैर्मुख्यैः फलैर्नानाविधैर्द्विजः

ato hyaṃbeti vikhyātā pūjyate girimūrddhani | saṃpūjya vividhairmukhyaiḥ phalairnānāvidhairdvijaḥ

Darum ist sie als „Ambā“ berühmt und wird auf dem Gipfel des Berges verehrt. Der Brahmane, nachdem er sie ordnungsgemäß mit vielerlei erlesenen Früchten geehrt hatte, setzte sein Ritual fort.
