Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 35

अंबेति भाषते स्कंदस्ततोऽन्ये सर्वदेवताः । पृथिव्यां मानवाः सर्वे पाताले सर्वपन्नगाः

aṃbeti bhāṣate skaṃdastato'nye sarvadevatāḥ | pṛthivyāṃ mānavāḥ sarve pātāle sarvapannagāḥ

Skanda sprach das Wort „Ambā!“, und daraufhin riefen es auch alle anderen Gottheiten nach. Auf Erden verkündeten es alle Menschen, und in Pātāla ebenso alle Nāga‑Schlangen.
