Transliteration

gaṃgātīre śubhe ramye puṇye janapadākule | ṛṣibhiḥ sevite nityaṃ svargamārgaprade dhruvam

Translation

Am glückverheißenden Ufer der Gaṅgā—lieblich, heilig und von Siedlungen belebt—wird jener Ort stets von ṛṣis aufgesucht, und gewiss verleiht er den Pfad zum Himmel.
