Transliteration

tataḥ śārṅgavinirmuktaiśchittvā tasya śaraiḥ śiraḥ | kāśīpuryāṃ sa cikṣepa kurvaṃllokasya vismayam

Translation

Dann schnitt er ihm mit Pfeilen, die vom Śārṅga-Bogen abgeschossen wurden, den Kopf ab und warf ihn in die Stadt Kāśī – was die Menschen der Welt in Erstaunen versetzte.
