Type: temple
Listener: Somēśvara/Īśvara (Śiva)
Scene: Devī’s hymn-like declaration: Somēśvara as the focal deity, surrounded symbolically by Vedas (personified), ṛṣis, and yogins offering worship; the liṅga/Śiva presence radiates calm authority.
Śaraṇāgati (taking refuge) in Somēśvara unites Vedic, yogic, and Purāṇic paths, and is praised as a means to pāpa-vināśa.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra through the invocation of Somēśvara as the sin-destroying deity of the place.
The verse highlights worship (ijyā) through Vedic-yoga disciplines and praises; it does not specify a particular vrata, dāna, or snāna.
