इत्युक्तस्तैस्तदा विष्णुर्दैत्यमाहूय संयुगे । ताडयामास तं दैत्यं हृदि पादुकया शुभे

Transliteration

ityuktastaistadā viṣṇurdaityamāhūya saṃyuge | tāḍayāmāsa taṃ daityaṃ hṛdi pādukayā śubhe

Translation

So von ihnen angesprochen, rief Viṣṇu den Daitya in die Schlacht und schlug den Dämon mit der glückverheißenden heiligen Sandale (pādukā) auf die Brust.
